Product detailed description
Athena Balance is a simple potassium silicate formula specially concentrated to buffer irrigation water and stabilize it to the ideal pH. The extra silicon benefits plant growth, stem structure, stress reduction, water use (osmoregulation) and nutrient utilization.
Commercial growers achieve better results, especially when using reverse osmosis (RO) water, by first using Athena Balance buffering agent. Pure RO water has an unstable chemical structure that can trap additional nutrients when added without a buffer. Athena Balance adds just enough to the water to create a more homogeneous fertilizer solution and reduce the need for pH adjustment after mixing.
The formula is sediment free and compatible with mechanical dosing systems (Dosatron). Athena Balance is not recommended for electronic dosing systems (Netafim).
