Rich soil life is very important for organic plant cultivation. Bacteria, fungi and other micro-organisms break down organic matter and convert it into nutrients for plants. The greater and more diverse the range of bacteria and fungi in the soil, the better the plants grow. This has a direct impact on plant health and yield. In addition, rich soil life provides more than just food for plants. Rich soil life also produces antibiotics and vitamins.  

Mix PK Booster Compost Tea with chlorine-free water at room temperature, preferably aerated for 24 to 36 hours, as aeration increases the amount of microorganisms in the liquid. Compost tea greatly enriches the life of the soil, making it an important tool for organic growers. You can add other ingredients to the tea during the aeration phase, such as Bio PK.

The pack consists of a rich and potent compost with a healthy blend of active bacterial dominant microorganisms, bat guano, algae and a few other select ingredients. In addition, the pack contains a unique blend of bacteria that create phosphorus and mobilize soil potassium to deliver it to your plants, a real PK boost!  

Maximize this with ORGATREX, a blend of nutrient bacteria, during aeration, causing explosive growth of microorganisms in the compost tea. Compost tea systems are sold in specialist stores. But you can also easily prepare your own with a bucket, a hose with an aeration stone and an aquarium pump. For larger quantities, use a barrel, a (garden) hose with holes and a powerful pump. The purpose of this device is to actively pump air into the mixture. Make sure the pump you use is strong enough to actually ignite the tea. You can check if your pump is powerful enough. If the tea starts to smell, the pump is not powerful enough. Well aerated compost tea has a fresh and pleasant smell. Do not use chlorine, but a solution with 3% hydrogen peroxide or other cleaning agent.

Tea preparation:  

Make compost tea according to the instructions moments beforehand. Aerate the mixture for 24-36 hours. The tea can be stored for a maximum of 4 hours Use only good quality natural water without chlorine. Chlorine kills microorganisms. If you only have water with chlorine, you will need to aerate the water for several hours. Active aeration of the water causes the chlorine to evaporate. Your tea will be much more effective if you add 1 teaspoon of MYCOTREX (mycorrhizal fungi) for every 5 litres of tea, half an hour before you stop brewing. MYCOTREX can be purchased separately.

Use:  

Compost tea can be used for both indoor and outdoor growing. It is used in soil watering. Try to keep the compost tea moving when pouring, including any solid parts. The more often you use it, the better your results will be. We recommend that you use our PK Booster Compost Tea at least three times during the cycle. Do this at least in weeks 3, 4 and 5  at flowering time. You can also spray the compost tea on the leaves. The compost tea will then form a protective layer on the leaves. Hostile fungi therefore have no chance of causing damage. If you spray it on the leaves, pay attention to the following. The tea contains many live micro-organisms and these cannot survive spraying under high pressure, so we recommend using only a hand pump. Spray the top and bottom of the foliage. And preferably just before the lights go out or the sun goes down.  

In litres, mix at room temperature with chlorine-free water:  

- 1 tablespoon (15 grams) of PK BOOSTER COMPOST tea mix  

- 5 ml of ORGATREX  

Let bubble for 24-36 hours.  

Transfuse the tea into the soil within 4 hours after making the tea. Use half a litre of tea per plant.
